5 Foods that Promote Healthy Digestion

Eating better food across the board can do amazing things for our health in general including weight loss, with no meal shakes necessary. However, breaking down our diet also allows us to include the different types of food that are helpful for our bowels and support regular digestion; it’s all part of the meal planning process we curate with our clients.

In the meal planning process, we try the best we can to incorporate fiber into our diets, because even an individual in good health can undergo digestive issues due to a lack of fiber or foods with probiotics. By doing so we can do our part in avoiding issues like bloating, cramping, constipation, or any other serious stomach conditions.

In this post, I wanted to share with you some of the foods that we found to benefit regular bowel movements. These are some of the foods that we pick to support our digestive system, not to mention our favorites.

Almonds

In no particular order, I want to start with almonds. Almonds are an awesome treat from nature. They’re inexpensive to buy and can be broken down into snack-size servings. They’re considered to be high in fiber with one serving of at least twenty-three nuts holding approximately 3.5 grams.

whole grain wheat bread

Another one of our favorite go-to snacks is whole grain wheat bread. This one is high on our list because it can be eaten with any meal or on its own with several toppings as a snack. There are approximately two grams of fiber in just one slice.

VEGETABLES

We always recommend our clients try to add more vegetables to their diet. We all know how important it is to get our regular serving of vegetables, as they can do a lot for our health in the long run. However, we find that a lot of our clients are not getting any considerable servings of vegetables at all, which is something we’d like to help change. This is why you can never go wrong with mixed veggies. They come in all sorts of blends that make for a convenient addition to most meals.

Dark Leafy Greens

Among vegetables are dark leafy greens such as spinach, brussel sprouts, broccoli, collard greens, and beats. We strive to include greens into our diet not because they’re yummy but because they’re said to be high in antioxidants and other essential minerals and can help repair damage on a cellular level.

Fruits

We cannot move forward without mentioning some fruit. I would like to point out that skin from apples contains insoluble fiber. They say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, perhaps that’s because the fiber in the skin of the apple helps with preventing constipation, and even reduces the risk of colon cancer.

HErbal Aloe Concentrate

To conclude, I’d like to introduce an exceptional product called Herbal Aloe Concentrate, which not only promotes regular digestion but also delivers numerous other benefits. Designed to complement your digestive health routine, Herbal Aloe Concentrate is a refreshing beverage that provides an easy and convenient way to enjoy the goodness of aloe vera. Renowned for its potent properties in soothing the stomach and enhancing digestion, the aloe plant serves as the core ingredient in this remarkable product.

Herbal Aloe Concentrate is especially beneficial for individuals dealing with acid reflux. The naturally cooling properties of aloe vera help to alleviate the discomfort associated with acid reflux, by reducing inflammation in the gastric tract. By incorporating Herbal Aloe Concentrate into your daily diet, you can manage acid reflux symptoms and support your digestive health.
